1rst Rome,
Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento Leaving Rome and travelling on the Autostrada del Sole, we drive through the
Regions of Lazio and Campania. View of the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Arriving in
Naples, short panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito
Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. After a short visit to a
Cameo and Coral factory, arrival in Pompeii. Visit of the Ruins of this famous Roman city
destroyed 79 A.D. by eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. After lunch in a typical restaurant, to
Sorrento, a jewel of the Sorrentine peninsula, famous for the cultivation of oranges,
lemons and olive trees. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd Sorrento Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort or for an
opitonal tour to the island of Capri. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
3rd Sorrento, Amalfi Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Amalfi in the morning. Dinner and overnight
stay.
4th Amalfi Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort or to plunge
into limpid water. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
5th Amalfi, Roma Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free. Early in the afternoon (at 3.00 p.m.
approx.) transfer to Sorrento from where we shall start our trip back to Rome. Traffic
permitting 9.00 a.m. is the estimated time of arrival in Rome.
