1rst
Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento Leaving Rome and travelling on the Autostrada del Sole, we drive through the
Regions of Lazio and Campania. View of the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Arriving in
Naples, short panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito
Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. After a short visit
to a Cameo and Coral factory, arrival in Pompeii. Visit of the Ruins of this famous Roman
city destroyed 79 A.D. by eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. After lunch in a typical restaurant,
proceed along the coast to Sorrento, a jewel of the Sorrentine peninsula, famous for the
cultivation of oranges, lemons and olive trees. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd Sorrento Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort. Dinner and
overnight stay at the hotel.
3rd Sorrento, Capri At 7.45 a.m. departure by boat for Capri. Short panoramic tour of the island (not
included the Blue Grotto). Overnight stay at the hotel.
4th Capri
Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderjul island, to plunge into the limpid water
of the gulf or to make an optional trip to the Blue Grotto. overnight stay at
the hotel.
5th Capri, Roma
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. In afternoon we shall start our trip back to Rome.
