Day 01
Milan - Rep. of San Marino
Breakfast at the Hotel and city tour of Milan visiting : the Cathedral, the Scala( the
most famous opera house on the world with its immense stage ) and the Galleryof Vittorio
Emanuele. Proceed to San Marino, one of the smallest states in the world that still has its own currency, stamps and
preserves its political system since over nine centuries. Dinner and overnight at the
Hotel.
Day 02
Rep. of
San Marino - Assisi - Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for Rome via Assisi. Stop in this splendid
and mystic town for a panoramic visit of its Basilic and the church of St Maria degli
Angeli. Lunch in a restaurant of Assisi and in the late afternoon arrival to
Rome" The Eternal city". End of services.
Day 03 Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure fi.om the Hotel at
hrs 08:00 am to visit this famous eternal city and its artistic beauties like: Fontana di
Trevi, Pantheon, Castel Sant' Angelo and the San Peter square with its basilica
,in the
afternoon visit to the Church of St, Peter in chains with the Statue of Moses by
Michelangelo, Colosseum, Capitoline Hill, panoramic view of the Roman Forum and the Church
of St.Paul outside the walls, Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 04
Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel. Day at leisure, overnight at the Hotel.

Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel. Day at leisure, overnight at the Hotel
Day 06
Rome
- Siena - Florence
Departure from the Starhotel Metropole by deluxe motor-coach on the
"Autostrada del Sole" to Siena. This gothic city is constructed
on three hills in
the hearth of Tuscany. This monumental and medieval city is encircled by its ancient walls
and is famous for its splendid square Piazza del Campo designed in the shape of a shell.
Here, every year the famous "Palio" takes place. See also the elegant Palace and
the Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed on to Florence for dinner and overnight at the
Hotel.
Day 07
Florence - Pisa - Florence
Breakfast at the Hotel and morning city tour along which we appreciate the
artistic beauty of Florence with its Dome by Brunnelleschi, the Bell tower
by Giotto and the
Baptistery. The sightseeing tour continues through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio,
Ponte Vecchio (whose name clearly indicates this is the oldest bridge in town several
times reconstructed ) and finally the church of Santa Croce. In the afternoon, we leave
Florence for an excursion to Pisa. This quiet and graceful town shows signs of its past
and its greatness through the famous Piazza del Campo, better known as the Square of
Miracles where we find the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower (a Romanic bell-tower of 58mt )
and the Baptistery. At the end of the visit return to Florence.
Day 08
Florence - Padua - Venice
Breakfast at Hotel and morning departure for Padua to visit the
Basilica of St. Antonio. In the afternoon, arrival to Venice, the city of gondolas. Dinner and overnight
at the Hotel.
Day 09
Venice
Breakfast at Hotel and visit of this mysterious city built on 177 islands, 150
canals and 400 bridges. The sightseeing includes the panoramic of St. Mark's square and
the inside of the Doge's Palace- During the morning the group will stop in one oft he
famous shops of Murano glasses. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 10
Venice - Verona - Garda Lake -
Milan
Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for Verona, the monumental city setting of
Shakespeare' s masterpiece "Romeo and Juliet " (panoramic visit of Juliet' s
house). This ancient Roman colony is especially known all over the world for its Arena, a
splendid amphitheatre that becomes in summer the scene of the most important Operas and
Lyrics. Proceeding to Milan there is the largest Italian lake: the Lake of Garda.
Arrival in Milan. End of services. |
