EXCURSION TO SIENA AND SAN GIMIGNANO 

departure every day except on monday, wednesday, friday and saturday from 16 of November to 15 of March at 9.00 a.m. with terminal at Piazza della Stazione at the corner with Piazza dell'Unità 

An extremely interesting excursion through the countryside of the Chianti area among  delightful hills, with an ever-changing scenery of vineyards and olive trees. A visit to San Gimignano, a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries; the city is situated on top of a hill and is famous for its numerous towers, frescoes and other art treasures.On arrival in Siena, free time for lunch (not included). Then follows a guided visit of this magnificent mediaeval city. It is possible to admire the Cathedral, the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, the Town Hall, and San Domenico, with its numerous treasures of Italian painting. During the return journey, along the way it is possible to admire the old mediaeval village of Monteriggioni enclosed by its famous walls, still intact
