VISIT OF FLORENCE: AFTERNOON

     departure every day at 2.30 p.m.  with terminal at Piazza Stazione at the corner with Piazza dell'Unità


 Departure by coach for a brief excursion to Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin positioned on the hills that dominate Florence and the Arno Valley. The tour continues to the historic centre for a visit to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce  where it is possible to admire the tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini among others.The tour then arrives at the famous Gallery of the Academy where it is possible to admire the original David by Michelangelo and other masterpieces by this great artist.
