Meet the truffle hunter with his dogs and
go into the woods in search of this rare and extraordinary
delicacy. When truffles are found an unforgettable dinner is
in store. In the cooking class learn how to cook the truffles
found in the wood. The Cook will explain the typical Tuscan
recipes and the history of the ingredients such as the saffron
that was used as a way of payment. Make pizza and ravioli by
hand. After the cooking class everyone will have lunch (at own
expense) and taste the recipes made that morning, matched
together with very good Tuscan wines. Truffle hunting is an
activity carefully regulated by the Association of Siena
Truffle Hunters and may be done only during certain times of
the year.
